Grilled Red Onion

4 each Red onion, peeled, sliced around hemisphere into 3/8" slices
¼ cup Olive oil
Sea Salt, As Needed
Black Pepper, Fresh Ground, As Needed


  • Mixing Bowl
  • Liquid Measuring Cups
  • Grill or Grill Pan
  • Tongs
  • Storage Containers


  1. Toss the red onion slices, olive oil, season with salt and black pepper, toss until evenly mixed. 
  2. Transfer red onion slices to grill or grill pan and cook until lightly charred, and limp, 3-4 minutes. Allow to cool. 
  3. Transfer to a storage container, cover, label and store in the refrigerator.
