4 | each | Red onion, peeled, sliced around hemisphere into 3/8" slices |
¼ | cup | Olive oil |
Sea Salt, As Needed | ||
Black Pepper, Fresh Ground, As Needed |

- Grill or Grill Pan
- Tongs

Preparation
- Toss the red onion slices, olive oil, season with salt and black pepper, toss until evenly mixed.
- Transfer red onion slices to grill or grill pan and cook until lightly charred, and limp, 3-4 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Transfer to a storage container, cover, label and store in the refrigerator.
